Install Microsoft Dot Net 3.5 Framework in Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 Machine

Hello Friends, Here we will learn how to install Dot Net 3.5 Framework on Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 machines as Windows 10 OS has the default version of Dot Net Framework but there are a couple of applications that run on the Dot Net 3.5 Framework or a basic requirement or prerequisite for the application installation or functioning.

To install Dot Net 3.5 Framework, Windows 10 DVD or ISO file would be required to install it offline. Below are the Installation steps along with their screenshots to install the .Net 3.5 framework.

Step:1

Click on the Start menu and type cmd or command prompt in the search bar of the start menu

Step:2

Right-click on the command prompt and click on Run as Administrator. 

It may ask you for the UAC control, click on 'Yes' it will open the command prompt. 

Step:3

Once the command prompt is opened, you have to type a command but before doing that download or arrange Windows 10 ISO image and mount (Right Click on the ISO File and click on Mount) it in your system.

Once the image is mounted you need to type a command in the command prompt

Dism /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFX3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:<Windows 10 Image's Drive Name>\Sources\SXS
