Today on 14th July 2021, Microsoft announced another great news in the technology world after Windows 11 Launch. The big announcement is the launch of Microsoft Windows 365 which will help so many people and companies.
What is Windows 365?
You must have heard about Office 365 which is also a product of Microsoft. Microsoft Office 365 is a bunch of all the office-related applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. that are a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Windows 365 is a cloud-based Operating System service just similar to Office 365 that will work on the cloud environment which will be accessible from any device.
In most Organizations, Users are already experiencing Microsoft's cloud-based Office 365 applications which work as a SaaS (Software as a Service), and now in the same manner when Microsoft has announced Windows 365, it will be Operating system as a Service which is going to be a great success because there will be no hassle of data storage, scale processing power, etc as everything will work online and the machine can be accessed from any device and from anywhere. It will start a new era of Hybrid personal computing and will be the new way to experience Windows 10 and Windows 11 and it will support Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 which are already successful products of Microsoft. As per the Microsoft announcement, Windows 365 will be available later this year for Interns and contractors, software developers, and designers, and for Organizations, they have announced 2nd of August 2021.
What will be the cost of Windows 365
Organizations will be able to pay per user per month basis on the number of desktops they will use as per the PC configuration chosen by them, it is similar to Azure Virtual desktops which have become famous during the Covid Pandemic. IT Administrators will be able to increase or decrease the machines' compute with one click. Microsoft will reveal the prices on 2nd August 2021 when the services will be available. Microsoft will be going to create usage plans for Microsoft 365 just as similar to Office 365 plans which can be available on a monthly or yearly basis.
There will be so many advantages in this Windows 365 product for the users as well as for the IT professional. Since Microsoft has a more than 70 percent market share and people love to use the Microsoft Operating system and their office products. So, now people are very excited to know the pricing and all the new features of Windows 365 which they are going to reveal in the first week of August 2021.
